From her first step onto the property, Sarah Baeumler visualized the ideal flow of the resort taking into account areas for quiet enjoyment and romantic moments to group gatherings and celebrations. She carefully blended the exterior and in-door aesthetic to create an exceptional world-class boutique resort.

CAERULA MAR CLUB
Caerula Mar is a respite where our guests can unwind after a day on the island or start their morning by being the very first footprints in the sand. I designed Caerula Mar so that the interiors, furnishings, and artwork would act as a neutral canvas to help showcase the island’s natural beauty in its truest form. I opted for a warm aesthetic with touches like crisp white linens, understated furnishings, and fixtures that evoke elements of barefoot luxury and life on the water.
From the moment you step foot into the reception you’re welcomed by a sense of tranquility and calmness. A grand archway connects our main lobby to the dining room, where guests can eat, socialize and gaze out to the beautiful view of the ocean. Adjacent to the reception is Switcha, a café that features whimsical, tropical wallpaper.
The Signature Suites and Villas were all designed to emulate different aspects of island living, the local community and the surrounding environment. I used a variety of accent pieces to note these subtleties through a variety of warm, soft neutral colour palettes and woods found in both select furnishings and custom elements. Natural light pours into each space keeping every room bright and romantic for couples to enjoy.
